HOSPICE OF LUBBOCK VOLUNTEERS

Volunteers make a difference in so many lives, including their own. Studies have shown that people who volunteer for others live happier, fuller lives. Hospice of Lubbock is looking for people that can give 1-2 hours per week to be a friend to a person facing a terminal illness. You will be fully trained by Hospice of Lubbock. All Volunteers must pass background checks. We have opportunities for anyone who has the time to give to others. Volunteers really do make the difference for so many.

Volunteer Opportunities include:

                Direct Patient volunteering (non-medical support/visits)

Support volunteering (filing, computer work, mail-outs)

Thrift Shoppe volunteering (sales, inventory control, sorting, shop displays)

Fundraising event support (set-up, ticket sales, decorating, sales)

Grief Recovery Support and Chaplaincy volunteering (for credentialed professionals)

For more information please call our office at 806.795.2751 and ask for Volunteer Services Coordinator or email
